Government of Maharashtra Appeals Citizens To Sing National Anthem

The Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde appealed to people to join mass singing the national anthem at 11 am today, as a part of 75th Independence day celebration.

On Tuesday, A day after Telangana’s extraordinary achievement, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde on Tuesday urged all state residents to sing the National Anthem together at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in an effort to break the previous record.

The Chief Minister described it as a chance to leave a lasting impression and noted that Saurabh Vijay, the state’s secretary of tourism and cultural affairs, had given the required directives as part of the continuing 75th Independence Day festivities.

In light of this, the administration had ordered all employees of government agencies, educators and learners in both private and public schools, lecturers and academics in colleges and universities, and all other members of the academic community to stop what they were doing and sing the National Anthem at the designated time, wherever they might be.

The government had simultaneously urged all private institutions, businesses and corporations, semi-government organizations, and Central & state government projects to permit their officers and staff to take part in the Wednesday event.

Shinde also urged all regular citizens to gather in big groups around the state at 11 a.m. to recite the National Anthem.

To ensure that the 12-million-strong populace would be reached, the government had instructed the relevant departments to ensure that full publicity was given to the nation’s collaborative performance of the national anthem through social media, tv channels, communities and commercial radios, FMs, etc.
