Google I/O 2023 Conference To Take Place On 10th May

Google I/O 2023 is Google’s annual developer conference which you can also watch on YouTube & a few social media platforms on 10th May 2023.

Google, the world’s largest search engine, has announced that I/O 2023 will take place in May, as in previous years.

The CEO of Alphabet Inc. (and Google), Sundar Pichai, announced on Twitter that Google I/O 2023 will begin on May 10 at the company’s Mountain View headquarters’ Shoreline Amphitheatre.

Attending the event in person will only be possible for registered software developers and selected media.

The event will be streamed live for the rest of the world on Google’s official I/O website and YouTube channel.

There is no point in speculating because Google will reveal important details about Android 14, the new Wear OS, and significant updates to a number of its services, including Maps, Lens, Google Assistant, and other useful apps.

But Bard, a new chatbot powered by artificial intelligence (AI) from Google, will probably steal the show.

Although Google Bard didn’t get off to a strong start especially in comparison to Microsoft’s ChatGPT-integrated Bing, it is anticipated to produce better and more accurate results.

Not just Bard, Google is predicted to demonstrate 20 plus similar conceptual AI models such as –

  • ‘Shopping Try-on’ for YouTube (to help consumers try on clothing),
  • Maya: (3D picture generator),
  • a video summarization tool,
  • a Pixel exclusive wallpaper generator,
  • AI tool for corporate customers to coder their own ChatGPT-like bot,
  • Colab + Android Studio (to assist software programmers to detect and fix bugs) and more.

Additionally, there are rumors that Google may release the Pixel 7a, a mid-range phone. At the same event the year before, its predecessor was also unveiled.

It is anticipated that the rumored Pixel 7a will have a 6.1-inch full HD+ (1080×2,400p) display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, it will run Android 13 OS and be powered by the same Tensor G2 chipset as the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.

It reportedly has a dual-camera system with a main 50MP (Samsung GN1) + 64MP (Sony IMX787) sensor on the back and a Sony IMX712 wide camera sensor on the front. It is anticipated to have a battery life of a full day.
