Gautam Adani’s Family Pledges ₹60,000 Crore To Charity For Social Works

Asia Richest Person – Gautam Adani & his family pledged to donate ₹60,000 Crore To Charity For Social Works. They announced it on the occasion of Adani’s 60th birthday.

The Adani family pledged to donate ₹60,000 to charity on June 23 in honor of Gautam Adani’s 60th birthday as well as his father Shantilal Adani’s 100th birth anniversary.

The Adani Foundation will handle the administration of the donation, which will support initiatives in the fields of healthcare, education, and skill development.

When announcing the gift on Twitter, Gautam Adani stated that it will assist “build an equitable, future-ready India.”

The initiatives for healthcare, education, and skill development, according to Gautam Adani, should be considered holistically since they all work together to create an India that is fair and prepared for the future.

Mr. Gautam also said,

“Our experience in large project planning and execution and the learnings from the work done by the Adani Foundation will help us uniquely accelerate these programs.”

In order to further the Adani Foundation’s mission to advance the realization of its “Growth with Goodness” philosophy, he stated,

“This gift from the Adani Family intends to draw upon some of the brightest minds that have a drive to make a difference in the Adani Foundation’s journey.”

The founder and chairman of Wipro Limited, Azim Premji, responded to the news by saying –

“Gautam Adani and his family’s commitment towards philanthropy should set an example that we can all try to live Gandhi’s principle of ‘trusteeship’ at the peak of our business success. We need not wait for our sunset years.”

Premji continued by saying that the nation’s opportunities and challenges require unity of effort from everyone, regardless of differences in wealth, geography, religion, caste, and other factors.

He also said –

“I wish Gautam Adani and his foundation the very best in this important national endeavor.”
