At the G20 Summit in Delhi, world leaders will be welcomed by an artificial intelligence-generated ‘avatar’ at an exhibition called ‘Mother of Democracy’.
The exhibition will be held at the Bharat Mandapam and will showcase India’s democratic traditions from ancient times to the present.
The exhibition will feature 26 interactive screens arranged in multiple kiosks, which will summarize and retell the history of India’s democratic ethos. The content will be presented in 16 global languages, including English, French, Mandarin, Italian, Korean, and Japanese.
Upon arrival at the exhibition, heads of state, delegates, and other guests will be greeted by the AI-generated ‘avatar’, which will provide them with a concise overview of the exhibition.
The exhibition area will also feature a replica sculpture of the Harappan girl, placed on a rotating elevated podium in the center of the hall.
The replica sculpture is 5 ft. tall and weighs 120 kg, while the original sculpture is only 10.5 cm tall.
The exhibition will also highlight the election traditions of India, from the first general elections held in 1951-52 after Independence to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The aim of the exhibition is to celebrate and showcase India’s democratic heritage and its contributions to the world.
The 2023 G20 Summit will be held in New Delhi, India. The summit is a meeting of leaders from the Group of 20 major economies who will try to find solutions to global problems.
The summit will take place on September 9 and 10, 2023. Some areas in New Delhi will be closed, while others will have regulated movement.
