G20 Summit To Feature AI Avatar At India’s Democracy Exhibition

At the G20 Summit in Delhi, world leaders will be welcomed by an artificial intelligence-generated ‘avatar’ at an exhibition called ‘Mother of Democracy’.

The exhibition will be held at the Bharat Mandapam and will showcase India’s democratic traditions from ancient times to the present.

The exhibition will feature 26 interactive screens arranged in multiple kiosks, which will summarize and retell the history of India’s democratic ethos. The content will be presented in 16 global languages, including English, French, Mandarin, Italian, Korean, and Japanese.

Upon arrival at the exhibition, heads of state, delegates, and other guests will be greeted by the AI-generated ‘avatar’, which will provide them with a concise overview of the exhibition.

The exhibition area will also feature a replica sculpture of the Harappan girl, placed on a rotating elevated podium in the center of the hall.

The replica sculpture is 5 ft. tall and weighs 120 kg, while the original sculpture is only 10.5 cm tall.

The exhibition will also highlight the election traditions of India, from the first general elections held in 1951-52 after Independence to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The aim of the exhibition is to celebrate and showcase India’s democratic heritage and its contributions to the world.

The 2023 G20 Summit will be held in New Delhi, India. The summit is a meeting of leaders from the Group of 20 major economies who will try to find solutions to global problems.

The summit will take place on September 9 and 10, 2023. Some areas in New Delhi will be closed, while others will have regulated movement.

Several world leaders have confirmed their attendance at G20 Summit in India, including –

  • US President Joe Biden
  • Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
  • British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak
  • Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida
  • Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

However, Russian President Vladimir Putin can’t attend the summit, thus their Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will represent his country.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has also decided not to visit India after China’s controversial standard map, which was criticized by India & 5 other Asia-Pacific countries.

China was making fake claims over the regions of other countries. Thus China has decided not to send their Premier Li Qiang, replacing Chinese President Xi Jinping.

As part of the summit, there will be an exhibition called the ‘Mother of Democracy’ at the Bharat Mandapam.

The exhibition will be introduced by an artificial intelligence-generated ‘avatar’ that will provide an overview of the exhibition.
