Harish Rawat, a well-known leader from the Congress party and a former chief minister of Uttarakhand, had a car accident. The accident happened near Bazpur while he was going from Haldwani to Kashipur. His car, a Fortuner, hit a divider on the road and got damaged. Harish Rawat himself got hurt in his chest due to this crash.
The police got to know about the accident and quickly took him to a local healthcare center in Bazpur. After some initial treatment, they sent him to a bigger hospital in Kashipur, known as KVR Hospital. Harish Rawat wasn’t the only one injured. Two other people, Kamal and Ajay, who were with him in the car, also got hurt.
After some treatment, the former CM was okay and doctors let him go. He then went to a hotel to rest. Several Congress leaders from nearby areas visited him in the hospital to check how he was doing.
Harish Rawat later said on social media that he’s fine and people don’t need to worry. He felt some tremors after the accident but the doctors have checked him and said he is okay.

The police officer in charge said that the accident happened when Harish Rawat tried to pass a loader vehicle near a railway crossing and hit the divider. His car was going out of control when it hit.
Let me clarify, the accident was caused by Harish Rawat’s car trying to overtake another vehicle and colliding with a road divider. Harish Rawat sustained a chest injury.
After the accident, he was initially taken to Bazpur CHC and then referred to KVR Hospital in Kashipur for further treatment. Alongside Harish Rawat, two other people named Kamal and Ajay were also injured in the accident.
