EXCLUSIVE: Rashmika Mandanna To Play Female Lead In Salman Khan’s Sikandar
This year on Eid Salman Khan did not release any of his movies but there is no need to worry. Salman Khan is all set to surprise his fans with his upcoming movie Sikandar. Salman Khan has announced the project while saying to the fans that this year they will watch new releases Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on Eid and next year he will come back with one of the most anticipated movies Sikandar. Sikandar is an action-packed thriller movie directed by A R Murugadoss and is the first-ever collaboration between Salman Khan and Murugadoss.
The shooting for the movie will start in June 2024. The latest update regarding Sikandar is that leading female actress Rashmika Mandanna has joined the star cast of the movie as the female lead alongside Salman Khan.
Sikandar will be released on the special occasion of Eid 2025. The movie is directed by A R Murugadoss and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. After the official announcement of the move fans became very excited and are eagerly waiting for the teaser of Sikandar. As per the latest news Rashmika Mandanna will star in a female lead role alongside Salman Khan.
Sources said that the movie is not only about action-packed scenes but has dramatic and emotional angles also. The script is heartbreaking and this is the major reason why both Salma Khan and Rashmika Mandanna signed this project.
Rashmika Mandanna took to her social media account to share this news with her fans. Sharing the post Rashmika said, “ Everyone for a long time has been asking me for the next update so here it is. I am grateful to be a part of #Sikandar”.

Sajid Nadiadwala himself chose Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna for Sikanadar to bring new chemistry on screen. As per the sources, Rashmika Mandanna’s character has a crucial role in the script of the movie.
