EXCLUSIVE: Is Aamir Khan Going To Announce Sequel Of Blockbuster Movie Sarfarosh?

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the evergreen blockbuster movie Sarfarosh special screening was held in Mumbai on 10th May 2024. After the news of a special screening of the movie, fans got very much excited. To the surprise of the fans Aamir Khan himself along with other star cast including Sonali Bendre went to the special screening of the movie.

But here is another exciting update from this event.

During the event, a source told the media saying, “ At the event, Aamir and other star cast members of the film will go down the memory lane of the movie and will share their experience of working in the movie. But along with the triviality, Aamir Khan can probably announce the sequel of Sarfarosh”.

The source also added, “ If not announced, Aamir Khan will at least assure that the second part of the movie is under process. However it is not confirmed that he will be a part of Sarfarosh 2”.

A Glimpse of Sarfarosh

Sarfarosh is an action thriller Bollywood movie directed by John Matthew Matthan. Sarfarosh was released on 30 April 1999. The movie revolves around the life of an honest police officer named ACP Ajay Singh Rathod who starts a mission to remove the problem of terrorism in the country. When he starts his mission he faces various problems and issues. The movie gets intense when Ajay Rathod confronts a strong and notorious terrorist named Gulfam Hassan portrayed by Naseeruddin Shah. The movie became very popular because of its captivating storyline, stellar performances of the star cast, and the actual portrayal of the fight against terrorism. The other star cast of the movie includes Sonali Bendre and Mukesh Rishi among others. The rating of Sarfarosh is 8.2/10.

More Deets About Sarfarosh 2

For a very long time, there have been many rumors saying that the director John Matthews is working on the sequel. Even some of the rumors said that John Abraham is playing the lead role in Sarfarosh 2 but later in the year 2020 John Abraham confirmed that he is not a part of the movie.

During the special screening of Sarfarosh alongside Aamir Khan and Sonali Bendre, director John Matthews, Manoj Joshi, and Upasana Singh were snapped at the event.
