Emirati Women’s Day is a day when the world celebrates wonders achieved by women from the United Arab Emirates. This year, we are going to talk about how Emirati women have been moving ahead, leading a whole variety of jobs and acting as an inspiration to Indian and international women.
Emirati Women’s Day is a day celebrated every year on 28th August. It is a day when both people within and outside the UAE acknowledge the achievements made by Emirati women. The UAE government initiated the day to show how women contribute to the success of the country.
This year, the theme is all about how Emirati women inspire Indian women. So many Indian women live and work in the UAE and view Emirati women as models of what they could be. Very often, Emirati women help and guide Indian women by example to show them what is possible when women are given chances of leading.
Let’s start with some of the Emirati women who are doing something absolutely amazing:
Manal Al Bayoumi is the first female in the UAE to be an astronaut. She inspires girls and other women that nothing is impossible, even entering space! Manal’s story calls for more and more women studying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics-what people refer to as STEM.
Her Excellency Hend Al Otaiba was appointed UAE Ambassador to the United States, which includes representing her country before one of the most powerful nations in the world. That actually reveals that women are also contributing leading roles in political and international fields.
Sarah Al Amiri is the Head of Advanced Technology Development in the government of UAE. She works on making sure that the UAE is at the edge of any new invention and idea. Sarah shows that women can be leaders in such fields of science and technology.
Emirati women are doing more than just succeeding in their own country. They’re showing women everywhere what’s possible:
1. Breaking Barriers: These women are the first to do many things, proving that old ideas about what women can do are wrong.
2. Mentoring Others: Many Emirati women help other women, especially those from different countries, to succeed in their careers.
3. Changing Views: As more Emirati women become leaders, people around the world are seeing the UAE as a place where women can achieve great things.
For Indian women, seeing Emirati women succeed is very inspiring:
– It shows that women from different cultures can be leaders in any field.
– It encourages Indian women to aim high in their careers, whether in India or abroad.
– It highlights the opportunities available in the UAE for women from other countries.
As we celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, we’re not just looking at what women have already done. We’re also looking forward to what women will do in the future. The success of Emirati women is opening doors for women all over the world.
Emirati Women’s Day reminds us that when women are given chances to lead, everyone benefits. The stories of these amazing Emirati women show that with hard work and support, women can achieve incredible things and inspire others along the way.
