Emirates Wins Big at Top Travel Awards

Emirates airline won nine impressive awards at three major travel award shows – the Business Traveller Awards, World Travel Awards, and International Loyalty Awards 2024. These awards were given out at the Arabian Travel Market event in Dubai this week. Major travel industry leaders from around the world attended this big event.

Middle East Business Traveller Awards

At the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2024, Emirates was named the ‘Best Airline Worldwide.’ That’s the top prize! Emirates also won four other awards: ‘Best Premium Economy Class,’ ‘Best First Class,’ ‘Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East,’ and ‘Best Frequent Flyer Program.’

World Travel Awards 2024 Winners

Emirates also won three top awards at the World Travel Awards 2024. It was named ‘Middle East’s Leading Airline 2024,’ ‘Middle East’s Leading Airline – First Class 2024,’ and its Skywards program won ‘Middle East’s Leading Airline Rewards Programme 2024.’

Global Loyalty Award for Skywards

The Emirates Skywards frequent flyer program won a huge global award – ‘Global Loyalty Programme of the Year Middle East’ at the International Loyalty Awards 2024. With over 30 million members worldwide, Skywards is one of the most popular loyalty programs in the world.

Always Improving for Customers

For many years, Emirates has worked hard to give customers excellent service and experiences in all cabin classes, both on planes and at airports. Just this past year, Emirates introduced free loungewear and meal pre-ordering for business class. It reopened 8 fancy Emirates Lounges after renovations. And it upgraded 16 A380 planes with brand new cabin interiors.

Investing in the Future

This week at the Arabian Travel Market, Emirates announced huge plans. It will upgrade 71 more A380s and 777s as part of a multi-billion dollar renovation program across almost its whole fleet. This ensures Emirates customers will keep “flying better” for years to come.

Emirates also plans to add its Premium Economy cabin to 42 more cities by early 2025 as new A350 planes arrive and renovated planes restart service.

The Best for Travelers

Winning all these prestigious awards proves Emirates is dedicated to giving travelers the absolute best experiences possible. With continued investments in products, services and customer satisfaction, Emirates remains one of the world’s top airlines, offering luxury air travel to passengers everywhere.
