Billionaire and X’s CEO Elon Musk on Monday said he is doing some system scaling test tonight before the long awaited interview with Republican and former President Donald Trump.
In a post in X, formerly Twitter, Musk wrote, “Am going to do some system scaling tests tonight and tomorrow in advance of the conversation with Donald Trump.” While there is nothing specific about the interview, it has only been said that the conversation between the two stalwarts will take place tonight at 8 pm ET, Monday, 12th August 2024.
The interview is expected to be an entertainment banger by looking at the posts uploaded by Musk where he has been seen writing, “This is unscripted with no limits on subject matter, so be highly entertaining. If you have specific questions & comments, post them under the chat.”
He further said that entertainment is guaranteed in a post that he uploaded in his official X handle.
Musk is known for leading X and SpaceX and has long been a supporter of the former US President. With the US presidential elections round the corner, there have been claims made that Elon Musk had planned to contribute $45 million monthly to a Super PAC dedicated to Trump’s US Presidential campaign. However, the billionaire has repeatedly denied the claims.
According to the Federal Election Commission, Super PACs have the provision of accepting unlimited donations from individuals and corporations in order to support candidates or political parties.
A committee linked to Musk is under scrutiny despite the denial by the billionaire that he has not contributed any sum of money to the Republicans election campaign. Elon Musk is currently the CEO and owner of X (formerly Twitter) and witnessed Trump’s account banned following allegations of inducing an attack on the Capitol Hill on 6th January 2021. After Musk became the owner of X, he reinstated Donald Trump’s account.
