We have exciting news today for those who frequently travel between Delhi and Jaipur. Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari announced an innovative plan that will significantly reduce the travel time between these two cities.
The plan is to develop an electric cable highway, a modern and efficient transportation system. It usually takes up to 6 hours to travel this 280-kilometer distance. But now this electric cable highway will enable you to travel from Jaipur to Delhi in just 2 hours.
Imagine, what currently takes several hours by road will soon be possible in a fraction of that time! This development is particularly noteworthy as it represents a significant leap forward in transportation technology and efficiency within India.
The Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is responsible for this initiative, revealed these plans while in Jaipur. He was there to support Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Diya Kumari in their respective assembly constituencies. His visit and the announcement highlight improving infrastructure and connectivity in the region.
In terms of cost, Gadkari indicated that traveling on this electric cable highway would be quite economical. He mentioned that the fares would be about 30% less than those of a diesel bus. This makes the service not only faster but also more affordable for the average traveler.
This project isn’t the first of its kind in terms of reducing travel times. Gadkari referred to the successful reduction of travel time between Delhi and Meerut, which now takes just 45 minutes.
This achievement was initially met with skepticism, but it has since become a reality, demonstrating the government’s capability to deliver on its promises in transportation.
