ED Calls Ashok Gehlot’s Son: What’s Really Going On in Rajasthan?

Vaibhav Gehlot, the son of Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, has been called by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). They want to talk to him about some rules not being followed in foreign money matters, also known as FEMA violations. The ED is a government agency that looks into financial wrongdoings.

But Vaibhav Gehlot is not the only one. The ED also visited the homes of Govind Singh Dotasara, who is the head of the Congress party in Rajasthan, and Om Prakash Hudla, an Independent MLA. They are being looked into for a different issue: a leak of exam papers for teacher jobs.

Govind Singh Dotasara has said he has no connection with the coaching center that is also being searched by the ED. Dotasara is running for an election next month against a BJP candidate, and Hudla is also in the race with a Congress ticket.

Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister, is not happy about all this. He says that the ED is being used by the BJP to trouble the Congress party. 

He thinks the ED is doing this because the BJP is not sure it can win the upcoming election in the state. Simply, he is saying that the ED’s actions are politically motivated to hurt the Congress party’s chances in the elections.

Ram Lal Sharma, a BJP MLA, says there’s nothing to worry about if they have done nothing wrong. He says the ED is just doing its job and checking for evidence.

This is all happening right before a big election in Rajasthan. People will vote on November 25, and the votes will be counted on December 3. So, there’s a lot at stake, and the timing of these actions by the ED is making people talk.

Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, is saying that the BJP is using the ED to mess with the upcoming elections. But the public isn’t new to this game. They know politicians and their past actions very well.

Often, when politicians are called out for doing something wrong, they blame agencies like ED and CBI or the government in power. 

So, it’s not surprising to see such accusations flying around, especially close to election time. The people will weigh the facts and make their own judgments.

If the son of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot – Vaibhav Gehlot, and other accused ministers & officials are not guilty, they should cooperate with ED and other officials.
