EAM S. Jaishankar Rides In ‘Made in India’ Train In Mozambique

EAM S Jaishankar is on a 3-days trip in the southeastern African country of Mozambique. He met with the country’s President & discussed bilateral cooperation.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar rode aboard a ‘Made in India’ train during a visit to Mozambique’s capital on Thursday. 

During his visit, Jaishankar engaged in a meeting with the Mozambican Transport Minister to discuss India’s involvement in the expansion of train networks and waterways connectivity.

The Indian External Affairs Minister, Jaishankar, has arrived in the capital of Mozambique for a three-day visit from April 13 to 15. 

The individual had a meeting with the President of the Parliament of an African nation. During the meeting, they discussed strategies to enhance bilateral collaboration.

In a historic move, the Indian External Affairs Minister has embarked on a visit to Mozambique for the very first time.

In a recent development, S Jaishankar, the Indian Minister of External Affairs, took to the popular social media platform Twitter to share details about his conversation with the Mozambican Minister of Transport. 

Mozambican Minister of Transport & Communication and Chairman of the Mozambican Port & Rail Authority, Mateus Magala, engaged in a noteworthy discussion on sustainable transportation. The conversation centered around eco-friendly modes of transportation. 

During the discussion, there was a mention of plans to expand train networks, promote electric mobility, and improve waterways connectivity. In a recent tweet, it was stated that India is a dependable ally in this regard.

Accompanied by Mozambican Transport Minister Mateus Magala, the individual recently embarked on a journey aboard a train manufactured in India, traveling from Maputo to Machava. CMD RITES Rahul Mithal has joined us on our journey, and we greatly appreciate his presence.

Indian External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, engaged with the Indian community in Mozambique and paid a visit to a temple during his recent trip. In a recent tweet, the individual shared their experience of visiting the Shree Vishvambhar Mahadev Mandir in Maputo, where they offered their prayers in the evening.

The individual expressed their delight in engaging with the Indian community in that particular location.

During his visit to Maputo, Indian External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, engaged in discussions with key leaders, including President Yoweri Museveni, to explore possibilities of collaboration in various sectors such as trade, infrastructure, energy, and defense.
