Dharmendra Recovering After Injury at Family Wedding

Well-known old Bollywood actor Dharmendra recently made his fans worry after posting a late-night picture of himself looking tired and sick on social media. The 87-year-old star, known for his great acting in films like Sholay and Chupke Chupke, had shared a picture of himself eating food in the middle of the night, saying he was craving leftover chapatis with butter.

However, Dharmendra soon removed the photo, leaving his followers wondering about his health condition. It has now been found out that the legendary actor got hurt while attending a family wedding in Udaipur a few weeks ago.

Back Injury During Wedding Celebrations

According to someone close to Dharmendra, the actor hurt his back and leg while dancing at the wedding celebrations. He attended the wedding along with his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. The person said Dharmendra had not been feeling well for the past two weeks, and that was visible on his face in the picture.

The person further explained that Dharmendra got injured and his health became worse at the family wedding in Udaipur. He hurt his back and leg while dancing. His health also suffered because of too much physical activity and old age.

Recovering and Taking It Slow

While the injury and physical activity made Dharmendra’s health worse, the person assured that the veteran actor is now getting better. The person added that Dharmendra was very tired because of the physical activity, and it got bad because of his injury. However, he is doing fine now and is on the way to recovery. The person said Dharmendra is taking it slow now and focusing completely on his health.

Recent Film Appearances

Despite his old age, Dharmendra has remained active in the film industry, although his appearances have become less frequent. He was last seen in the 2022 film “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,” directed by Karan Johar, where he had a small role. Before that, he appeared in the Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon film “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” in 2023.

Fans and well-wishers of the beloved actor are relieved to know that he is recovering from his injury and taking the necessary steps to prioritize his health. Dharmendra’s strong spirit and commitment to his work have made him a true icon of Indian cinema, and his fans eagerly await his return to the big screen.
