Devendra Fadnavis Confirms About Cabinet Expansion

Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis is on a 2-days visit in Delhi. He says that SC hasn’t stopped them for cabinet expansion.

Devendra Fadnavis, deputy chief minister, stated on Sunday that the present Supreme Court hearing had nothing to do with the delay in cabinet expansion.

Fadnavis reiterated that the enlargement of the cabinet would take place soon and added, “The court has not placed any limitations on us for carrying out our cabinet expansion.

We have continued with our cabinet expansion despite the setback. It is therefore inappropriate to equate it with a court hearing.”

In Delhi, Fadnavis was addressing the media. During his two-day visit to the nation’s capital, the deputy CM spoke at a colloquium that the National OBC Mahasangh had organized.

The BJP & Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) partnership is in power in Maharashtra, the deputy chief minister declared.

Therefore, the BJP will back the Sena rebels who have allied with us in the parliamentary & assembly elections in 2024 in addition to campaigning for the political victory of its candidates.

22 judgments pertaining to OBC welfare were made throughout the eight years from 2014 to 2022. The majority of these 21 decisions were made while Fadnavis served as the chief minister of Maharashtra (2014 to 2019).

Education, jobs, IAS-IPS administrative training, scholarship programs, OBC reservation in local bodies, and a host of welfare schemes were implemented during the BJP-led coalition in the state, he claimed.

This was in addition to the creation of an autonomous OBC ministry and a number of other benefit programs.
