US President Joe Biden is working hard to recover from the fallout of his recent CNN debate performance. Biden is 81-year-old and he is facing increasing calls from his party to step aside from the US Presidential race of 2024. Many of his supporters are losing confidence in his ability to win the election.

What are the Concerns Among Democrats?

A report from the New York Times reveals that several Democrats are expressing serious doubts about Biden’s candidacy in this election in 2024.

Representative Scott Peters from California said, “I have less and less confidence in this campaign’s ability to win this race. If we know we’re going to lose, we would be foolish not to look at another course.”

Minnesota Representative Angie Craig echoed these sentiments, urging Biden to consider stepping down. “I do not believe that the president can effectively campaign and win against Donald Trump,” she said.

The CNN Debate fallout….

Speculation about Biden’s future on the 2024 ballot started swirling online soon after his shaky debate performance at the CNN Debate show. Republicans including Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy took this to social media and predicted that Biden would withdraw soon from the race for the next US President.

The New York Times also reported that an unnamed senior White House official who has known Biden since his time as Vice President believes he should not seek reelection.

Geoff Duncan, a Republican and former lieutenant governor of Georgia said the debate was a “huge eye-opener” regarding the President’s “physical and mental well-being.”

Duncan added, “It will take a significant amount of counterevidence to unwind what I saw and heard during that debate. That seems like an unlikely scenario at this point.” Let us remind you this Ducan was the person who supported Biden against Trump.

As the pressure increased after the debate shoe of the CNN team Biden Is facing the challenges task of gaining faith to secure leadership and candidacy for the 2024 Presidential race.
