Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s CM on Sunday declared a total lockdown in the national capital from Monday 6 am till March 31, 12 pm. According to recent reports, the total number of coronavirus of cases increased to 30 in Delhi.
Quoting Arvind Kejriwal, during a press meet, stated: “For your health, for Delhi and the nation, we have decided to lock down the national capital from 6 am on Monday till March 31 midnight.”
According to the NDTV News, Delhi Health Department gave an order stating that if any individual discovered violating this will be fined or punished as per the IPC Epidemic Diseases Act 1897.
At Safdarjung Hospital, 11 coronavirus-positive patients are admitted, six at LNJP Hospital and five at Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital, and one at GTB Hospital, the department stated. Out of 30 cases, five were discharged, one migrated out of the country, and one passed away.

Different provisions are listed which are to be followed during the lockdown time frame; for example, All shops, godowns, workplaces, workshops, commercial places, industrial facilities, and offices will stay shut. No public transport will be permitted, and Inter-states transports, trains, metro trains. Borders with different states will be fixed, and just the transportation of essential products and things from these states will be permitted. All domestic flights arriving in Delhi will also be postponed.
Online food order and take away facilities will also remain open. All essential shops, for example, confectionery, ration, chemists, will stay open for the public, India Today reported.
