Central Govt Gifts Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh Over ₹7,500 Crore Projects

PM Modi visited Rajasthan & launched various development projects worth ₹5,000 crores. These projects include road, rail, aviation, health, and education sectors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Jodhpur, Rajasthan today. He launched various development projects worth Rs 5,000 crores. These projects are in sectors like road, rail, aviation, health, and higher education.

PM Modi laid the foundation stone for a trauma emergency and critical care center at AIIMS Jodhpur, which will cost more than ₹350 crore.

He also inaugurated seven critical care blocks under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) in Rajasthan.

Additionally, PM Modi dedicated the IIT Jodhpur campus to the nation, which was built at a cost of more than ₹1,135 crore.

Furthermore, PM Modi launched projects to improve road infrastructure in the state, including a 352 km-long pipeline project and rail projects worth more than ₹1,850 crore.

He also performed the ground-breaking ceremony of the “Veerangana Rani Durgavati Smarak aur Udyaan” in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, to honor the queen known for her fight against the Mughals.

Gifts For Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi also laid the foundation stone for multiple Jal Jeevan Mission projects and inaugurated a drinking water project in Seoni district. These projects will benefit about 1,575 villages in the state.

Additionally, PM Modi inaugurated a lighthouse project in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, which was built at a cost of about ₹128 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban. This project aims to provide housing for more than 1,000 beneficiary families.

Udaipur, Jodhpur Airports & Terminal Buildings

The cities of Jodhpur and Udaipur are getting new airport terminal buildings. The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is laying the foundation stone for these new buildings.

The Jodhpur terminal will be 4-times bigger than the current one and will cost Rs 480 crore to build. It will have 40 check-in counters and be able to handle 2,500 passengers during busy times.

The Udaipur terminal will be five times bigger than the current one and will cost around ₹887 crore. It will be able to handle 4,000 passengers during busy times. These new terminals will improve connectivity and bring more tourists to the region.

Jodhpur is currently connected to 11 cities by air, and the new terminal will make it easier for people to travel within the state and across India. Udaipur is a popular tourist destination known for its lakes, and the new terminal will help boost tourism there as well.
