Canada is trying to have private talks with India to solve the diplomatic issues. Canada has already been exposed for sheltering terrorists in its territory.
Here’s what’s going on between Canada and India at this moment. Canada’s Foreign Minister, Melanie Joly, has mentioned that they want to have private discussions with India to resolve a diplomatic issue.
This problem started because Canadian PM Justin Trudeau accused India of being involved in the killing of a Khalistan terrorist named Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was shot outside a Sikh temple in British Columbia.
Canada claimed in its Parliament that Indian government agents were responsible for Nijjar’s death. But India strongly denied these allegations and called them baseless.
Even after 3 months of this, the Canadian government has no evidence. In fact, India has informed Canada of having terrorists & separatists in Canadian territory. India urged Canada to take action against them.
But instead of taking actions, the Canadian government gave their national citizenships and protection to those terrorists & separatists.
Now, India has asked Canada to withdraw 41 of its diplomats by October 10. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau hasn’t commented on this appeal yet.
However, Trudeau mentioned that Canada doesn’t want to make things worse with India and wants to stay in India to assist Canadian families there.
The United States is aware of this situation but hasn’t gotten deeply involved. They’ve mentioned they’re focused on their Indo-Pacific strategy.
Now Canada wants to talk privately to sort things out, but India has asked them to withdraw some diplomats. The United States is keeping an eye on the situation, but they’re not taking sides right now.

Canada seems to have realized that getting into a conflict with India isn’t a good idea. No country across the globe, not even their own people, supported them in this matter.
It’s also become clear to the world that Canada has been giving shelter to terrorists and separatists on its soil.
Their Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, accused India of something serious, but it’s been three months, and they haven’t provided any evidence. That’s quite childish for a leader on the international stage.
Other countries are just watching this drama unfold, and it’s not helping Canada’s image. It would be much better if Canada resolves this through private talks with India.
India is growing rapidly and becoming a global leader, so maintaining good relations would be wise for Canada. It’s important to handle such matters diplomatically and sensibly.
