BTS manages to impress its ‘Army’ yet again as it surpasses 100 million views in 24 hrs

A record previously held by BTS’s chart-topping single Dynamite has been broken by another single ‘Butter’ of the same group. The South Korean group has been all about breaking records and this time was no different as it managed to set a new record with over 113 million views on Youtube within 24 hours. 

Last year the group celebrated seven years of being together by dropping their album and that was followed by a single called Dynamite, which was their first English language song, and that added to the popularity of the already famous group. 

This year too, the group returned with their single ‘Butter’, which the group describe as an offbeat way to celebrate summer vibe. This is the second English song by the South Korean band and it also stunned the fans with their fresh concept. Within the 15 minutes of its release, the song hit the 10 million mark, which is a record in itself. 

In the video, all the members could be spotted rocking different hairstyles and ultra-chic style. The release of the song was held live by all the members and was gradually followed by a press conference where the group shared its experience while making the song and what they wanted to convey through this song.

Many internationally acclaimed musicians were a part of the music video and the writing process. Rob Grimaldi, Stephen Kirk, Ron Perry, Jenna Andrews, Alex Bilowitz, and Sebastian Garcia and many more were involved in the writing process of the song and further the leader of the group RM was also involved in producing the track. 

Together these musicians came up with incorporating signature BTS style. Butter gives a full-fledged vibe of modern pop and dancing tracks and hence it was understandable why the ‘army’ liked the music so much. The witty lyrics suit the members well and line distribution left their fans more than satisfied. 

Of course, it was only a matter of time that their fans started prompting the song. Even Indian celebrities like Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff showed appreciation for the song through their social media channels. 

The band will be performing in the Billboard Music Awards on May 23 and it will be the first time that the group will be performing this single. They are also nominated in four categories in this event. This will be the beginning of their international tour and in the coming days, the group will also start with kicking off Good Morning America’s concert towards the end of the month.
