BJP Welcomes Actor Shekhar Suman In 2024 Lok Sabha Election

TV actor Shekhar Suman joined the BJP when India was voting for 3^rd Phase of the election. Recently Shekar Suman was seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi.

At the time of joining, BJP’s national general secretary Vinod Tawde and national media department in-charge Anil Baluni were present at the party headquarters.

During this, while talking to the media, Mr. Suman said, this had happened very suddenly. The day before yesterday he was not even thinking about entering politics.

In Hindi, Mr. Shekhar Suman said, “Even I did not know till yesterday that I would be sitting here. A lot of things happen in life. Sometimes you don’t know what you are supposed to do and you get a direction from above and you follow it. I have come here with a positive outlook and I would like to thank God for directing me to come here”.

Shekhar Suman thanked BJP senior leader and Home Minister Amit Shah and JP Nadda. Suman also showed his gratitude toward PM Modi. Though this is not the debut of Shekhar Suman, in 2009 he contested from Patna Sahib Lok Sabha Seat in Bihar. Congress gave him a ticket in that election. But he lost in 2009 against Shatrughan Sinha who’s a former BJP Lok Sabha member.

Shekhar Suman debuted in the film industry with Rekha’s film Utsav. After that, Bhoomi, Sansar Aur Anubhav, Tridev, etc. are among his best works. In 2014 he hosted The Great Indian Comedy Show. Suman also tried her luck in direction. He directed the film Heartless. It was a medical thriller film in which he starred his son Adhyayan Suman.

Apart from Shekhar Suman the national coordinator of Congress Radhika Khera also joined BJP with Suman.
