Thalapathy Vijay’s films are known for their charm and boldness, and Beast is no different.
With the first scene, the actor portrays a RAW officer with a soft spot for children, promising a slick and stylish action flick.
Sadly, as the film progresses, we begin to see the inconsistency of the writing style. Even Thalapathy fans may be disappointed at this stage.
In this movie Vijay plays a police officer named Veera, who manages to catch a dreaded terrorist even though in hardest situations.
However, he loses someone in the process, which has a significant influence on him, and he eventually quits his work and seeks treatment at a psychiatrist’s clinic.
Things progressed, and our hero met a girl (Pooja Hegde) and landed at a mall that was hijacked by terrorists.
Vijay then goes on a solo mission to take down all of the terrorists, despite the odds.
Vijay is one of the most excellent actors in the country, not just in Tamil cinema. He acts Veera with swagger and style, and he executes in style.
Incredibly, he does it all with such grace. It’s a treat for his fans, but it also raises the issue of the protagonist being unable to be questioned by anyone.
The presence of Pooja Hegde makes us wish her character was more than just a pretty face.
Terrorists look like little kids who have been given guns just to play with. It appears like they are only there to take pictures with the weapons and have no plan of actually killing anyone.
To make Vijay’s character better, the opponent needed to be more powerful!
The amazing action sequences and Vijay’s style aren’t enough to redeem the film’s inconsistent script. The movie is afflicted with poor scripting, which causes everything to become repetitious and prolonged.
Even with precisely timed action sequences, the post-interval seems too long, and the public may become bored. The taalis and seetis in the theater decreased dramatically.
Two other prominent aspects of the film are Anirudh’s soundtrack and Paramhansa’s cinematography.
If you’re a fan of Thalapathy Vijay & want to see your hero in a stylish officer disguise, you must watch this movie.
And for those who aren’t a fan, they can also watch this if they can leave their logical brain outside for two & a half hours.
