Babli Bouncer Review: Tamannaah Bhatia Portrays Female Lady Bouncer

Madhur Bhandarkar’s light-hearted comedy film ‘Babli Bouncer’ breaks the stereotype by portraying Tamannaah Bhatia as a lady bouncer. You can watch it on an OTT platform.

Director Madhur Bhandarkar, whose previous works include the films Fashion and Page 3, is returning with a new film titled Babli Bouncer. Now, the film is available on Disney Plus Hotstar. 

Fans have undoubtedly been anticipating the film since the trailer debuted because it looked quite promising. Having said that, let’s go in-depth about the movie today.

Plot: Babli Bouncer Review

The main character of the film, Babli, is portrayed by Tamanna Bhatia and comes from a community where bouncers are common. Babli has very unique aspirations that set her apart from many other girls. 

In this film, a major opportunity to work as a bouncer in a big city is depicted, along with all the difficulties she must overcome and the few events that entirely alter her life.

Cast & Performance: Babli Bouncer Review

Tamannaah Bhatia portrays the role admirably. She speaks Haryanvi naturally, for one thing. Second, it is clear that she has changed to appear to be that of a lady bouncer. 

The actress excels in action scenes as she battles against bad guys in particular. Gajanan Tanwar, the loving father of Babli, is portrayed by Saurabh Shukla, who is perfect for the role. 

We are all in favor of more uplifting father figures in Indian cinema. It’s a pleasure to watch Sahil Vaid as the incredibly charming Kukku who has fallen love with Babli. As Viraj, Abhishek Bajaj is amazing as well.

Conclusion: Babli Bouncer Review

The concept of a ‘female or lady bouncer’ and the aim of Breaking the stereotype is quite impressive but the film fails a bit because of its low screenplay & weak execution.

However this light-hearted comedy film is not that bad. It is a fun one-time watch for sure, especially for the weekends when you don’t want to engage your brain that much.
