Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘An Action Hero’ To Stream On Netflix Today

Anirudh Iyer directed and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer film ‘An Action Hero’ is going to release on OTT platform Netflix from today (27th Jan).

An Action Hero OTT Release Date:  Netflix will start streaming “An Action Hero,” starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat, on Friday. 

The action-comedy thriller, which Anirudh Iyer, a first-time director, released on December 2 to positive reviews but underwhelming box office results.

On its official Twitter feed, Netflix India announced the film’s digital premiere. “An evil villain and an action hero are set to clash. From January 27th, watch An Action Hero exclusively on Netflix! “announced the streamer in a post.

“An Action Hero” depicts superstar Maanav (Khurrana) as he tries to defend himself from the deadly municipal councilor Bhoora after getting involved in an accident. The film is a riveting examination of the toxic relationship between cinema stars and the media and fans (Ahlawat).

In the action-comedy, Khurrana plays the actor Maanav. When he travels to Haryana to conduct outside filming of his movie and gets caught up in a terrible incident, his life is turned upside down. An angry Bhoora Solanki, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, decides to track Maanav down.

In An Action Hero, Malaika Arora and Nora Fatehi both take part in dance scenes. Akshay Kumar also has a special appearance in addition to these two.

On December 2, 2022, the movie An Action Hero, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat, was released in theaters.

Neeraj Yadav wrote the action-thriller comedy, which is directed by Anirudh Iyer. The film, which reportedly cost 40 crore rupees to make, managed to make about 16 crore rupees at the box office.
