Arjun Nominated As Only Javelin Thrower For 7th Commonwealth Youth Games

Arjun, a 16-year-old student from Modern Public School (MPS) in Shalimar Bagh, has been selected to represent India in the upcoming 7th Edition of the Commonwealth Youth Games.

The games will take place in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, from August 4 to 6. Arjun is a talented javelin thrower and has achieved great success in his sport.

He has a personal best throw of 72.93 meters, which is quite impressive. Arjun’s talent and determination caught the attention of the selectors, and he is currently ranked number 3 among all the Commonwealth nations in the under-18 boys’ javelin throw category. In India, he holds the number 1 position in this category.

The Principal of Modern Public School, Alka Kapur, expressed her pride in Arjun’s achievements and highlighted the school’s dedication to nurturing the potential of each student.
