Apple’s Spring-loaded event launches colorful new iMac with magnetic power connector

On 21 April 2021, Apple showcased its much-anticipated Spring Loaded event, wherein it announced many exciting gadgets, like AirTag, the new iMac 2021, iPad pro, and much more. 

The most awaited was Apple’s new iMac, which is very unique and attractive from the past models. The new iMac has got a designed overhaul, giving the conventional desktop computer a truly needed makeover. The Spring Loaded event indeed stood to its name as it presented the new iMac in exciting new seven candy tones (green, orange, yellow, purple, red, blue, and silver).

The new iMac is just 11.5 millimeters thin and the volume of the iMac is 50% less compared to old models. It also has a new power connector that easily connects magnetically to the desktop’s back. There’s also an ethernet port provided on the power adapter. Buyers will get up to 4 USB-C ports, and two thunderbolt ports as well

The iMac will be available for buyers on pre-order from April 30 on its official website. In May it will hit the retail market. The new iMac starts at a price of Rs 119,900 and will cost Rs 159,900 for a top-end version with extra powerful graphics.
