Apple To Launch Apple TV App For Android Phones Soon

Apple already provides its Apple TV app for Android TV, Google TV, Samsung TV, Sony TV, and LG TV interfaces. Now the company is going to make it for Android Phones too.

Apple, the tech giant, is said to be planning to launch its TV app on Android smartphones very soon. 

According to MacRumors, ShrimpApplePro on Twitter, the user who leaked the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island design and the box, the news was relayed by MacRumors.

Apple TV is a series of media player software programs that Apple Inc. developed to allow you to view television shows and movies delivered by Apple to your consumer electronic devices.

As per the reports of tipter, the tech giant is currently testing the application internally and will release it soon. 

The Apple TV app would allow Android smartphone users to have a simpler way to access Apple TV+ streaming services, rather than relying on tv.apple.com.

Apple TV will be available on Android devices starting with the MLS Season Pass. The tech giant also released an update to Apple TV in October. This included HDR10+ support for Apple TV+ streaming and iTunes movies.

The tvOS 16 update added many features including video streaming via HDR10+ on the third-generation Apple TV 4K.

Apple offers its Apple TV app via Android TV and Google TV. It also supports other platforms like Tizen OS on Samsung smart TVs and webOS for LG smart TVs.

Apple offers the Apple Music app on other platforms, such as Android. Apple doesn’t allow any apps to be used outside of its ecosystem. However, Apple Music and Apple TV+ are the most lucrative revenue generators.

Apple is opening them up to anyone who is not part of its device ecosystem. This is how Apple hopes it can attract customers and generate revenue.
