On Monday at the Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple unveiled new features for the iPhones with iOS 18 along with their AI system, ‘Apple Intelligence’. These new features comprise one-of-a kind emojis, scheduling iMessages, and interface customizability. Apple Intelligence and iOS 18 will be launched later this year. As per Craig Federighi, Apple Executive iPhone users will witness a more smarter, customisable, and powerful operating system. The new AI-powered feature in iOS 18 will allow users to create custom emojis. With this new feature, users don’t have to wait for yearly updates for new emojis. People can create their news emojis instantly according to their specific conversations.
According to the new updates, Apple is training Siri to understand day-to-day language natural commands apart from direct commands. Reportedly, Apple’s target is to get its AI used to the natural language, sentence structures, speech patterns, and instructions that Siri will receive from the users. The new and improved AI will work with 18 built-in apps, which include books, contacts,Mails,Camera,Voice voice memos, and Safari.
The new upcoming feature of Apple is the music Haptics, especially curated for users who are deaf or who are hard of hearing. With this feature, songs in Apple Music will be translated into sensations like textures, vibrations, and taps. This new feature will allow the users to feel the music in a new and unique way.

With the update in iOS 18, Apple will allow the users to customise their home screens. Users will be allowed to change app icon colours according to their preferences.The new update will provide the users with more flexibility in arranging widgets and app icons.
