The Telugu film Anukoni Prayanam is a story of two friends during the pandemic period. The lead character’s mindset changes about human relations.
28th October marked the release of Anukoni Prayanam, which stars Natakireeti Dr. Rajendra Prasad in the title role.
The movie is co-starring with seasoned actor Narasimharaju and is directed by Venkatesh Pedirdla. Let’s check out the movie.
Rajendra Prasad and Narasimharaju play two pals who work as day laborers at a building site in Bhubaneswar at the beginning of the movie. Rajendra Prasad is a carefree individual who concentrates on his profession and doesn’t believe in relationships.
Their job is halted by COVID-19, so they begin visiting their home countries. Rajendra Prasad is shocked to learn that Narasimharaju has passed away while traveling.
The rest of the movie is about the challenges Rajendra Prasad encounters while carrying his friend’s body to his hometown and the events that help him understand the importance of interpersonal relationships.
The movie has a good concept that touches on emotions in people. The necessity of having relationships in life is emphasized in the film.
In the first hour, the plot is clearly established, and the emotions are effective. The beginning of the movie makes an intriguing comparison between human life’s ups and downs and a game of snake and ladder.
With Anukoni Prayanam, Rajendra Prasad further demonstrates why he is worthy of the nickname Natakireeti and why he is a truly exceptional performer in Telugu cinema. This is a part that was created specifically for the actor, who brings it to life.
The senior actor excels in dramatic sequences, and he deserves special praise for choosing such a heavy subject. After some time, he is given a role with excellent performance potential.
As Rajendra Prasad’s buddy, Narasimharaju has a decent role, and he does well in it. Some people, such as Tulasi and Ravi Babu, are good in their small-scale positions.
A few times in the film, the fun is decent and is presented in a humorous way. A handful of the Paruchuri Brothers’ dialogues have a deep inner meaning.
Rajendra Prasad has a strong performance, and overall, Anukoni Prayanam has some good moments and a terrific concept.
On the other hand, the film’s protracted running time, slow-moving story, and forced and unnatural situations make it strictly okayish to watch this weekend.
