Amitabh Bachchan Apologises: It will not be entirely wrong to say that Hindi movie star Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most socially active stars in the industry. He often takes time to interact with his fans or reply to their wishes on Twitter.
But recently an incident showed how down to earth the actor is after he apologised to a person publicly. He took to twitter to share a poem on ‘tea’ and this was not the first time he shared such a thing on twitter. But as he shared this very poem on twitter, he did not credit the poet for it.
The woman who wrote the poem, Tisha Agarwal, did not complain but still the mega star apologised to her for not giving the due credit.
The poem took a twist to give out the detailed list of elements that comprise tea such as happiness, imagination and laughter. His fans loved the poem and showered him with love on his tweet. Agarwal, who also saw the poem, said that she would have been twice happier if the star had given credit to her.
“Sir, seeing my poem on your wall is a matter of great fortune for me. My happiness and pride would have been double had you given me the credit for it. Looking forward to your response,” said Trisha.
To which, the Pink star replied, ‘Tisha ji, I just came to know that one of the tweets that I shared was your poem. I apologize, I did not know it. Someone sent me this on my Twitter or WhatsApp, I liked it, and I published it. I apologize.”
Soon Tisha acknowledged his response and clarified that she was not expecting an apology but only his blessing and the poet also thanked the star for his kind words.
