Sources say Lok Sabha will introduce a bill Monday allowing the center to control Delhi bureaucrat postings. Sources said Union Home Minister Amit Shah would introduce the legislation to replace the ordinance that has caused a significant standoff between the Arvind Kejriwal government and the center.
The legislation should pass Lok Sabha easily, but Rajya Sabha, where it lacks a majority, will be harder.

Last week, the Supreme Court ordered a five-judge constitution bench to determine whether Parliament can “abrogate the constitutional principles of governance” for the Delhi government by taking away its control over services.
