Amazon Great Republic Day Sale 2023 Amid 18,000 Layoffs

Amazon has launched its Amazon Great Republic Day Sale 2023 just after the decision of mass layoffs. They are firing their 18,000 employees including 1,000 Indians.

The Amazon Great Republic Day sale 2023 gives customers the chance to start making large savings on electronic goods.

All customers will be able to buy gadgets from companies including Intel, HP, Lenovo, Apple, Zebronics, JBL, ASUS, Dell, Samsung, Sony, Bose, LG, and many more beginning on January 15, 2023.

The offer includes same-day delivery options, a 12-month 0% EMI, an extra 5% off with coupon codes, and up to ₹ 21,000 off on exchanges in addition to a 10% instant discount up to ₹ 2,500 on SBI cards.

However, the ongoing round of layoffs by e-commerce company Amazon that will result in the loss of more than 18000 workers has fired many of its remaining staff disenchanted with their jobs.

According to its recent habit of big layoffs, the massive e-commerce company intends to fire about 18,000 workers.

In his most recent blog, published on January 4, company CEO Andy Jassy stated that the mass layoffs will affect more than 18,000 people globally. More than 1,000 Indian workers will lose their jobs as a result of the procedure.
