The central government of India is set to convene an all-party meeting on August 6 to discuss the evolving situation in Bangladesh. The meeting was scheduled for 10 a.m. at Parliament House, and it was aimed to brief Opposition leaders on the developments in the neighboring country.
The session was attended by key government figures, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju. Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge, representing Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha respectively, will also be present.
