Akshay Kumar Starrer ‘Ram Setu’ To Release on 25th October

Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu is an upcoming action & adventurous movie in which Akshay plays the role of an archaeologist with bespectacled look.

The official teaser for Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s much anticipated film “Ram Setu” was released on Monday. 

In the action-adventure film, directed by Abhishek Sharma (filmmaker of Parmanu and Tere Bin Laden), where Akshay Kumar plays an archaeologist.

Akshay used social media to release the poster and teaser, which depicts his character working against the clock to save the titular limestone bridge from being submerged. He tweeted,

“The first glimpse of ‘Ram Setu’… just for you. Made this with a lot of love, hope you like it. #RamSetu. October 25th. Only in Theaters worldwide.”

In the teaser, Akshay can be seen performing in underwater diving sequences while donning a special gear. There are also many chase scenes set in scenic landscapes.

The Real Ram Setu

Between Pamban Island, off the south-eastern coast of Tamil Nadu, and Mannar Island, off the north-western coast of Sri Lanka, is a chain of limestone shoals known as “Ram Setu”, also referred to as Adam’s bridge.

The bridge, which is submerged, is up to 10 meters deep and about 100 meters wide.

Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushratt Bharuccha, and seasoned actor Nassar all play crucial roles in “Ram Setu.”

Lyca Productions, Abundantia Entertainment, Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, and Amazon Prime Video all contributed to the film’s production.

Ram Setu Teaser Details

There aren’t many hints in the teaser about the movie’s narrative, but Akshay does give us one when he says that they only have 3 days to protect the Ram Setu. 

In the under a minute long teaser, we catch brief views of Satyadev Kancharana, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Nassar as a strong character dressed in a black suit.

Action scenes featuring the other three can be seen as they work against the clock to complete the task. 

The video draws attention with its scenic settings, underwater scenes, and Akshay’s new bespectacled appearance.
