Aishwarya Rai Bachchan marked her Cannes debut during 2002. Aishwarya wore a beautiful embroidered saree designed by Neeta Lulla. Her timeless Indian attire won millions of hearts worldwide.

2003:

This was the second time Aishwarya Rai attended the Cannes Red Carpet. This year Aishwarya Rai wore a saree of neon green colour designed by her favourite Neeta Lulla.

2004:

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a strong comeback in 2004, donning a revealing silver coloured gown designed by her preferred designer Neeta Lulla.

2005:

In 2005, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dressed in two outfits- a Black Gucci Gown with a low neckline and the other one was a floral outfit by Giorgio Armani. Both of her outfits were seen as fashion blunders.

2006:

2018:

2019:

2022:

During this year’s red carpet costume Aishwarya Rai chose a unique gown of light onion colour designed by Gaurav Gupta.

2023:

Aishwarya Rai Moved To Attend Cannes Film Festival And She Is The Queen Of Cannes In India

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan marked her debut at the Cannes Red Carpet with superstar Shahrukh Khan and famous director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Aishwarya Rai is the first actress from the Bollywood Industry to attend the Cannes Film Festival. In 2003 after marking her graceful appearance at the red carpet, Aishwarya Rai created history by becoming a member of Cannes Jury and after 2003 she has attended every Cannes Film Festival. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is famously known as Queen of Cannes in India because since her debut every year she has attended Cannes and has represented India by representing the country’s culture. She is also the brand ambassador of L’Oreal Paris and has presented the global brand at the Cannes film festival. Aishwarya reached Cannes with her daughter and her hand was injured.

On 15 May 2024, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was snapped with her daughter Aradhya at the Mumbai airport as they were travelling to attend this year’s Cannes Film Festival. But what grabbed the attention is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was wearing an arm sling as her hand was injured. After seeing the picture of the actress her fans got worried about her injury. However despite her injury Aishwarya Rai will attend the Cannes Film Festival and will follow her every year tradition with pride.
