In a big relief to the organizers, China has withdrawn its name from the ISSF World Cup to be held in New Delhi in the coming March. Not only this, after China, now Pakistan too will not send its players for this shooting World Cup.
Rifle, pistol and shotgun competitions will be held in this competition starting from March 15 at Dr. Karni Singh range. Given the threat of the Corona virus, it was unlikely that the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Health would have granted visas to Chinese players, but even before that, China withdrew the organizers’ problems.
‘China has made a good decision’
In this regard, President of the Indian National Rifle Association, Raninder Singh said, “It is entirely the decision of China to withdraw the name from the competition.” We have nothing to do with this. I think it is a good decision. However, other arrangements including hotel bookings were made for the players from China. At the same time, Pakistan’s shooters will also not come to Delhi. Explain that when India organized the last shooting World Cup, the Indian government refused to give visas to Pakistani players.

Pakistan claims: Shooters will take training in Germany, so cannot play in World Cup, Pakistan (Pakistan) has also decided not to allow its shooters to participate in Shooting World Cup in Delhi. According to the Times of India report, Javed Lodhi, executive vice president of the National Rifle Association of Pakistan, said that three of our shooters have qualified for the Tokyo Olympics and we are focusing on their coaching. We have found a coach for him in Germany, but he will be able to start training from March itself. In such a situation, there is no point that instead of training, we should send our shooters to play in the World Cup. To find more Latest Sports News in India
