After Chhattisgarh, BJP To Announce CMs In Madhya Pradesh And Rajasthan

The ongoing big news in Indian politics is about the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) deciding on their Chief Ministers for Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. This comes right after they chose a new Chief Minister for Chhattisgarh.

In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP has called a meeting of its newly elected MLAs in Bhopal. This meeting is crucial because it will decide who will be the Chief Minister of the state. There’s a lot of curiosity about who will get this important role. The party might go for a new face, just like they did in Chhattisgarh.

For this meeting, the BJP has appointed three central observers. These include Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, BJP OBC ‘Morcha’ head K Laxman, and party secretary Asha Lakra. They will be in Bhopal today to finalize the Chief Minister for Madhya Pradesh.

Meanwhile, in Rajasthan, the process to choose the Chief Minister will likely happen on Tuesday. For this, the BJP has appointed Union Minister Rajnath Singh, party general secretary Vinod Tawde, and Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pande as central observers. They will lead the legislative meeting of the newly-elected MLAs in Rajasthan.

In Rajasthan, several names are being considered for the Chief Minister’s post. The state unit chief of the BJP, CP Joshi, has said that all the contenders are deserving and that the final decision will be made after the legislative party meeting.

Remember, the BJP recently achieved a significant victory in these three Hindi heartland states. In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP won 163 seats in the 230-member assembly, clearly outperforming the Congress, which won 66 seats. This victory was seen as a big success for the party.

Also, in Chhattisgarh, the BJP’s newly elected Chief Minister, Vishnu Deo Sai, offered prayers at the Ram Temple in Raipur. He has been congratulated by many, including the National General Secretary of the YSRCP, Vijayasai Reddy V.
