AFC U17 Asian Cup: India Record 3-0 Massive Win Over Kuwait

AFC U17 Asian Cup Highlights: The Indian football team recorded a 3-0 win over Kuwaiti Football team. India made a flawless start as qualifiers in the tournament.

AFC U17 Asian Cup HIGHLIGHTS: In the AFC Under 17 Asian Cup, the Indian U17 football team defeated Kuwait 3-0. 

India defeated a powerful Kuwaiti team by scoring a goal and getting a pair of assists from Thanglalsoun Gangte. 

In Group D of the AFC U17 & Asian Cup Qualifiers, this was India’s second match. India is presently in first place in the GROUP after this victory.

Prior to this, India U-17’s qualifying campaign in Group D got off to an impressive start with a 5-0 victory over the Maldives in its opening encounter.

Kuwait was a formidable opponent, having obtained two straight victories. India, though, has maintained its position since the beginning. 

Finding the lead only took them sixteen minutes. A fantastic long ball found Korou down the right side of the field open, and he laid it on a plate for Gangte. He executed the finish flawlessly. 

India nearly scored a second thanks to Lalpekhlua’s outstanding corner kick performance. However, the keeper stops his shot.

India had a decent chance of winning after the break. The first occurred when Korou retrieved the ball in the penalty area’s open space. 

He lost his balance at a crucial time, and his shot was stopped. Lalpekhlua’s attempt to curl went wide, preventing a second opportunity. In the 66th minute, Korou finally put one in the net. 

Korou scored after skipper Guite sent in a low inviting cross from the left. The Blue Colts’ advantage was increased as a result. 

About ten minutes later, India scored their final goal. India scored on another ferocious counterattack. After Lalpekhlua’s excellent cross, Gangte easily finished the job.
