At the Tokyo Olympics 2021, Ashok came dangerously close to winning an Olympic medal. These days, she mainly competes in the Ladies PGA in the United States.

After her last victory in Abu Dhabi in November 2017, she has now won this championship more than 5 years later.

Aditi, 24, shot 67-70-69-74 throughout the course of the competition’s four rounds, going over par just once.

Notably, Ashok, a two-time Olympian, has performed well at the LET competition. In 60 attempts, she has finished in the top ten 20 times, and she has won the competition four times.

In the meantime, she would strive to win her first LPGA match in order to become the first Indian woman to claim the Ladies Professional Golf Association championship (LPGA).

With a combined score of 3-under 289, Alice Hewson of England and April Angurasaranee, a teenager from Thailand, tied for second place behind Aditi.

Avani Prashanth, another Indian, came in joint ninth place with a score of 3 over 295. Amandeep Drall of India placed tied 52 with a 308-stroke total of 16 over.

In the first round of the competition, Ashok finished at 6-under 67 to take a three-shot lead. In the second round, she recorded 3-under 70. She finished the third round at 4-under par thanks to a score of 69.

Aditi won her first two LET championships in back-to-back matches at the Hero Women’s Indian Open and the Qatar Ladies Open the following week.
