Actress Vaibhavi Upadhyay Dies As Car Falls Into A Valley

TV actress Vaibhavi Upadhyay died in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh. Her car fell into a valley. She was known for her role as Jasmine in Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai.

Vaibhavi Upadhyaya was known for her popular role as Jasmine in the popular television series “Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai,” tragically died in a car accident. 

The news of her sudden death has left fans and co-stars devastated, many of them expressed their grief on social media.

The accident occurred in Himachal Pradesh, where Vaibhavi and her fiancé were traveling in a car. Unfortunately, their vehicle lost control at a sharp turn, resulting in the untimely death of the talented actress. 

Her brother has traveled to Himachal Pradesh to claim her body, and the funeral is expected to take place soon.

Vaibhavi Upadhyaya was 32 years old at the time of her passing. Her family is currently in Chandigarh, making arrangements to bring her mortal remains back to Mumbai. 

The last rites are scheduled to occur on May 24 at around 11 am. Vaibhavi was known to be fond of traveling, and she was exploring the Tirthan Valley Road in Himachal with her fiancé when the tragic accident occurred. 

Their car, a Fortuner, went out of control and fell approximately 50 feet into a valley near Sidhwa, Banjar.

Local people who witnessed the incident immediately alerted the police. Sadly, when authorities reached the scene, Vaibhavi had already succumbed to her injuries. 

Her fiancé, Jay Suresh Gandhi, was rescued and taken to a hospital in Banjar, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries. 

According to DSP Banjar Sher Singh, the couple was on a pilgrimage visit to Banjar Valley when the accident occurred.

The news of Vaibhavi’s passing has deeply affected her former co-stars and colleagues. Rupali Ganguly, who worked with Vaibhavi in “Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai,” expressed her shock and disbelief on social media. 

Actor Deven Bhojani also mourned her loss, describing her as a fine actress and dear friend. Satish Shah, another co-star from the same series, paid his respects to Vaibhavi and conveyed his condolences to her family.

Apart from her role in “Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai,” Vaibhavi Upadhyaya had also appeared in films like “Chhapaak” starring Deepika Padukone, “Citylights” featuring Rajkummar Rao, and the television show “Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?”

The sudden and tragic death of Vaibhavi Upadhyaya has left the entertainment industry and her fans mourning the loss of a talented and promising actress. 

We hope her contributions to the entertainment industry will be remembered, and she will be deeply missed by her co-stars, colleagues as well as fans.
