Aashiqui actor: Indian Film Actor Rahul Roy was recently admitted to hospital after he suffered a brain stroke while shooting for his upcoming movies LAC – Live The Battle in Kargil.
The 52-year-old actor is known for his role in Mahesh Bhatt directed Aashiqui alongside Anu Agarwal. His upcoming movie is directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta and Chitra vakil Sharma and Nivedita BAsu are the producers of the movie.
He had to be brought to Mumbai to be admitted in the Nanavati hospital after he suffered the brain stroke. In a statement given to Mumbai Mirror, Basu confirmed the news saying because Rahul was close to the director, he was the first one to be roped in for the movie.
“Kargil had extreme weather conditions and they had gone up to -12°C and -13°C, so it was just a matter of time when someone would have succumbed to the cold, and I think that’s exactly what happened with Rahul. His one day of the shoot was still left but when we got to know about him, we told Nitin that we needed to get him out.”
Details regarding his health are not revealed except stating that he is ‘recovering’. Brother-in-law of the actor also did not give out many details by asking people to pray for him as the medicines given by the doctors are working on him. He positively stated that Roy will be out of it soon.
He has been admitted in Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai due to a brain stroke he supposedly suffered due to extreme weather conditions while shooting in Kargil, However sources from inside the hospital have said that he is out of danger but recovery will still take some time.
Latest reports have revealed that due to the brain stroke, the actor’s right side is affected. He is reportedly suffering from a condition called Aphasia, where your mind is unable to form sentences correctly.
His co-star Nishant Malkhani also said that the condition was due to the weather. The young actor said that it was all fine until Tuesday when he got the stroke. He added, “I cough blood every day, we are going up and down the mountains now and then and the nose capillaries get torn.
