‘Aankh Micholi’ Marks A Return To Genuine Comedy Films In Bollywood

Comedy films have always been a significant part of Hindi cinema, and Bollywood has a rich history of producing entertaining comedy movies.

Fans also show a lot of excitement for movies in this genre. Currently, there’s a lot of buzz around the upcoming Bollywood comedy film “Aankh Micholi,” which recently released its hilarious trailer.

About a week ago, the makers of “Aankh Micholi” unveiled the first look poster, sparking discussions and anticipation among fans.

Now, on September 26, the film has released its fantastic trailer. Actress Mrunal Thakur, who plays the lead role of Paro, shared the trailer on her official Instagram handle.

After watching the 2 minutes and 48 seconds trailer of “Aankh Micholi,” you are sure to have a great time. The film features Mrunal Thakur as Paro, a character who loses her vision at night due to night blindness.

The movie also stars talented actors like Paresh Rawal, Abhishek Banerjee, Divya Dutta, Sharman Joshi, and Abhimanyu Dassani, each bringing their unique charm to the screen.

The trailer of “Aankh Micholi” promises a generous dose of comedy and has been well-received by fans. The story revolves around a family where each member has a peculiar medical condition.

Paro’s father, played by Paresh Rawal, suffers from memory lapses. Two brothers, one of whom speaks with a stutter while the other cannot hear correctly, are desperately searching for a match for Paro.

Eventually, they find Rohit Patel, played by Abhimanyu Dassani, as a potential suitor for Paro.

The family decides not to reveal any of their medical conditions to the groom’s family, fearing it might jeopardize the relationship. What happens next is for the audience to find out when they watch the film.

The film started shooting in 2021 but faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is now set to hit theaters on October 27.

“Aankh Micholi” is directed by Umesh Shukla, known for his work on films like “Oh My God!,” “All Is Well,” and “102 Not Out.”

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of “Aankh Micholi,” which promises to be a hilarious and entertaining addition to Bollywood’s comedy genre.

I’ve also closely watched the ‘Aankh Micholi’ trailer, and I’ve come to realize that Bollywood used to produce only a few movies that could truly be called films.

Most of the stories were merely remakes, with filmmakers believing that if a film was a hit in another industry, they could remake it with slight modifications in the plot and a star-studded cast, thinking it would automatically be a hit.

The film stars themselves didn’t put in much effort, thinking that being celebrities was enough to win the audience’s favor.

However, it seems that Bollywood has started to understand the reality now. After a long time, we will get to see a genuinely well-made comedy film, one that aims to make the audience laugh without resorting to cringeworthy dialogues or unnecessary adult content. ‘Aankh Micholi’ is a movie that you can watch with your entire family.
