11 Best Indian Wrestlers In The Commonwealth Games (CWG 2022)

The 11 Best Indian Wrestlers are going to represent India in the Commonwealth Games (CWG 2022). The wrestling sport is scheduled for 5th & 6th August in the CWG event.

Just 21 days remain until the eagerly anticipated quadrennial event, the Commonwealth Games 2022. The Commonwealth Games, sometimes known as the “Friendly Games,” feature a variety of well-known sports involving competitors from all around the world. 

A total of six games, including wrestling, were featured at Canada’s Hamilton CWG 1930 (first CWG Games).

The Birmingham Commonwealth Games’ wrestling competitions will take place on August 5 and 6, 2022. In the first CWG in 1930, the wrestling sport made its debut. 

It was the third time in England particularly and the 19th time overall that the game was featured. 

At the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Dangal queen Geeta Phogat earned India’s first-ever gold medal in freestyle wrestling.
