₹1 Crore Prizes For Khelo India Jr Women’s Swimming Challenge Series

Khelo India Jr Women’s Swimming Challenge series is going to start from 20th August, 2022. The prize amount for India’s young swimmers is ₹1 Crore.

The first stage of the Khelo India junior women’s swimming challenge series will begin on August 20 and 21 in five Indian Zonal venues. 

For the Junior (U-18) and Youth (U-15) categories for girls, a Swimming Zonal Competition of this magnitude is being staged for the first time.

850 swimmers will compete in several competitions. Events including the 100-meters and 200-meters freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and individual medley will feature the young swimmers in action.

The five Zones of Khelo India Junior Women’s Swimming Challenge Series are New Delhi, Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Bangalore (Karnataka), Hoshangabad (Madhya Pradesh), and Kolkata (West Bengal).

• Ray Center, Wilson Garden (Bangalore, Karnataka)
• SAI Swimming Pool (Kolkata, WB)
• Narmada Taran Pushkar (Hoshangabad, MP)
• Savvy Swaraaj Sports Club (Ahmedabad, Gujarat)

Prizes: Khelo India Junior Women’s Swimming Challenge Series

The Sports Ministry has authorized a sum of ₹1.02 Crore under the Khelo India scheme for the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) to conduct this series. 

The top 5 competitors in each event throughout all the zones would receive prize money totaling Rs 36 Lakh out of the total amount sanctioned.
